How to Dress Your Bed

Fitting Your DYB Base Cover

Thank you for buying a DYB Base Cover. We hope you find it as easy to use — and as lovely to live with — as we do.

Firstly, there is no need to remove or lift your mattress to Dress Your Bed.

1. Make a little room. Fold the corners of your bedding onto the mattress so you can easily reach the base. If necessary, move your bed slightly away from the wall so you can walk around it.

2. Position your DYB cover. Remove it from its storage bag and lay it over your bed, with the elasticated section at the head of the bed. Line up the four corners with the corners of your mattress.

3. Start at the foot of the bed. At one bottom corner, stretch the cover over the mattress and slide the corner down onto the base. Repeat on the opposite bottom corner.

4. Move to the head of the bed. Pull each of the remaining corners over the mattress and down onto the base. Don't worry if the cover looks a little uneven — we'll fix that next.

5. Straighten and smooth. Once all four corners are in place, run your hand between the mattress and base, going all around the bed. Tuck the top edge neatly underneath the mattress and smooth the cover around the bed.

Stand back. Your bed is dressed. ❤️
